The first annual Amazing Race for the Parks is a community event with teams of 4 racing to complete a series of timed mental and physical challenges throughout 5 local parks. Challenge stations throughout the parks will highlight elements of the Foundation's history, mission, and values. Whichever team completes all challenges and crosses the finish line at the last location in the least amount of time will be the winner!

Who We Are
We are a nonprofit organization governed by elected Board Members who have a strong passion for helping the community. We were formed in March 2014 with the purpose to provide volunteer, charitable, and financial support for public parks, facilities, and recreation programs that benefit Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District in Camarillo, CA; serving a population of over 70,000 and covers an area of approximately 45 square miles.
